On July 17, 2025, I successfully defended my PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Vermont.
My research focused on two main areas:
1- Development of non-toxic, metabolism-altering wound dressings to treat biofilm-infected wounds.
2- Design and synthesis of coated iron oxide nanoparticles to combat bacterial infections in water recovery systems for space missions.
I received the Biomedical Engineering Graduate Award for Research Excellence. I’m grateful to my advisor (Dr. Amber Doiron) for her unwavering support throughout this journey—thanks to her guidance, I had the opportunity to present at three major conferences last year and publish three research papers
